Ryne Swope began his horse journey at a local summer horse camp and was hooked from day one!  Ryne began showing Morgan Horses he and his family owned at the age of nine and continued through high school. Swope’s Jr. Exhibitor show career saw much success on the regional and national levels of the Morgan Horse industry, especially in the equitation ring. After graduating college with a degree in the fine arts, and dancing with a professional company for several seasons, Swope’s professional horse career began with a few assistant trainer positions before finding his way to the head trainer position of John and Georgie Green’s historic Roadshow Morgans. Ryne alongside the Green family had much success with many Grand National and World Champion Morgans developed under Ryne’s direction. Swope soon found the love of his personal life, Austin Cole, and together they purchased a business in the Kansas City area in August of 2025. Swope and Cole now preside over their Cobalt Stables where they are developing and showing world class Morgan Horses across all divisions.
