TICKETS ON SALE MONDAY OCTOBER 26, 2026
ELEVATE THE EXPERIENCE
If you’re looking to make the most of the weekend, a limited number of Bring Your Own Horse badges are available. This allows guests to work with top trainers, focusing on personal development and your mounts. Click here to learn more.
WHAT TO PACK
We recommend all guests pack warm clothes which can be layered and comfortable shoes. Riders should pack riding gloves, proper footwear, stirrup leathers, and a helmet if they choose to use one. We ask that you put your name on both your helmet and leathers.
GRATUITIES
While gratuities for grooms are not mandatory, they are customary, particularly given the busy and demanding nature of the weekend. A recommended $50 gratuity per rider will be collected at the check-in desk. This helps us ensure a streamlined process.
The Winter Bootcamp is a true boots-in-the-irons experience—hands-on, immersive, and designed for riders who want to learn by doing. With a strong emphasis on time in the saddle, participants work directly with top professionals through practical riding sessions, real-time feedback, and applied horsemanship. It’s an engaging, no-spectator approach that builds confidence, sharpens skills, and delivers meaningful takeaways for riders at every level.
ABOUT THE WINTER BOOTCAMP
-
The 2027 Winter Bootcamp officially kicks off Friday, March 19 at Lingering Hills with a brand-new space designed to bring the Bootcamp community together.
Our new large, heated classroom will serve as the weekend hub for check-in, morning hospitality, vendors, lunch, panel discussions, and roundtables, giving everyone a seat at the table for our stellar lineup of programming.
Friday evening begins with an engaging panel featuring industry leaders discussing the trajectory of the Morgan breed and what the future holds. Then, we’ll raise a glass and celebrate with Denim & Diamonds, our Dolly Parton-inspired opening party featuring cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, music, and plenty of time to meet fellow attendees and clinicians.
We’re thrilled to welcome back Morgan Horse Bourbon as a 2027 sponsor. They’ll host a pop-up bar featuring Morgan Horse Bourbon and selections from their other product lines.
Bring your best denim and diamonds—or rhinestones—and let’s kick off an unforgettable weekend.

Day Two is where the real magic begins. Start your morning in the arena with top-tier trainers who will work hands-on with you to sharpen your skills, build confidence, and push you into new territory, whether you’re perfecting your equitation, refining communication, or exploring techniques you’ve never tried before.
Our talented school horses will be ready to help you learn, grow, and experiment, while riders bringing their own horses can add an additional training day for an opportunity to work alongside their trusted partner.
Throughout the day, enjoy “Roundtable Ringside” discussions, clinician-led audit sessions, and plenty of time to connect with fellow riders who share your passion for the Morgan horse. It’s a day designed to elevate your riding, expand your perspective, and immerse you in the art and discipline of horsemanship.
Time: 7:45 AM
Location: Lingering Hills LLCMorning hospitality will be served in the main Learning Center, with complimentary lunch and hospitality for all attendees.
Day Two programming is included with Observer, Rider, and Private Rider Experience badges.
The celebration continues Saturday evening with our Opening Night Gala, an evening of excitement and elegance to officially kick off the 2027 equestrian season. Tickets are sold separately and can be purchased here.

We recommend packing for whatever March in the Northeast has in store!
Layers: The stable and Learning Center will be heated, but March weather can be unpredictable.
Dry socks: Trust us—an extra pair goes a long way.
Denim & Diamonds: Festive denim, diamonds, or rhinestones are encouraged for Friday’s cocktail party. Not mandatory, but we want to see your best look!
Snacks: Morning hospitality, lunch, and water are provided, but a favorite snack is always a good idea.
Footwear: Boots or closed-toe shoes are recommended in the stable and arena areas.
-
Come prepared to ride, learn, and handle whatever the Northeast weather decides to bring!
Helmet: Riders under 18 are required to bring and wear a helmet. Helmets are not mandatory for riders 18 and over.
Saddle: Riders should bring their own saddle. If you’re traveling from a distance and bringing your saddle isn’t practical, we ask that you bring at least your irons.
Gloves: You show in gloves, so we recommend practicing in them throughout the weekend.
Extra socks: March weather can be unpredictable, so pack an extra pair of dry socks in case of rain.
Layers: The Northeast can be warm one day and chilly the next. While the stable and Learning Center will be heated, layers are highly recommended so you can stay comfortable throughout the day.
The golden rule: pack for all four seasons, you’re in New England in March, after all!
-
While tipping is not required, it is customary and greatly appreciated. We recommend $25 per day for Rider and Private Rider Experience participants, with 100% of tips going directly to the grooms who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the bootcamp running smoothly.
Grooms care for your horse, tack and untack, clean your tack, and make sure your horse is rider-ready for each session.
*You can tip when purchasing your badge as an “add-on” or at Bootcamp. If tipping at the event, simply drop your tip at the check-in table in the amount you’re comfortable with.
-
Absolutely! Riders of all ages, disciplines, and experience levels are welcome at Winter Bootcamp.
Junior Rider Cohort: Junior exhibitors will have the opportunity to learn and ride alongside their peers.
Youth Contest Crash Course: A team from the American Morgan Horse Association will lead a special session designed to prepare junior participants and their caregivers for success in the Youth Contest.
Whether they’re seasoned competitors or just getting started, Winter Bootcamp is a great opportunity for young riders to learn, build confidence, and connect with the next generation of Morgan exhibitors.
