The Massachusetts Morgan Horse Show is a premier Northeastern competition that celebrates the versatility, beauty, and enduring tradition of the Morgan horse. Known for combining top-tier competition with creativity and fun, the show embraces a unique theme each year that sets the tone for the entire week. This year’s theme, Your Favorite Board Games, brings playful energy, imagination, and a sense of friendly rivalry to the show grounds—inviting exhibitors and spectators alike to experience the Morgan horse in a setting that is both competitive and joyful.
Massachusetts Morgan is legendary for its can’t-miss summer party and highly anticipated decorating contest, where barns go all out and friendly competition extends well beyond the show ring. Past themes—including Woodstock, Christmas, Superheroes, and A Night at the Museum—have become part of the show’s lore, with elaborate barn décor and creative displays adding to the electric atmosphere. With exceptional competition, a vibrant social scene, and an unmistakable sense of community, the Massachusetts Morgan Horse Show remains a true summer highlight for competitors, families, and fans of the Morgan breed.

Checkmate your neighbors, pass Go (collect bragging rights), and remember, at Mass Morgan, the only thing more competitive than the ring… is the decorating contest.
